IIn Light of the The Word is a Television Outreach Ministry of the New Iberia Church of Christ.  From September 2009 through October 2010, this  Evangelistic effort has successfully reached out to over sixteen million  people throughout the world.

 "In Light of the Word" television and web-based ministry is an evangelistic outreach ministry of the New Iberia Church of Christ providing Bible studies and videos to people around the world. This ministerial effort is dedicated to teaching Biblical principles in a simple, clear, and concise way to all!  We are committed to carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. 

 We believe that showing people the love of Christ demands more than idol rhetoric, it demands we become actively involved in helping to change their lives. Therefore, the year 2011 bring about three new outreach ministries partnering with missionaries throughout the world.

 First, the Jacob’s Well Project is the outreach program wherein we go to communities and provide them with clean water sources by drilling a community water well.

 Secondly, the Raven Project assists missionaries with their outreach programs by providing necessary food directly to the individuals and communities they are serving.

 Thirdly, The SonLife Program is partnering with missionaries and medical professionals.  By funding medical professionals in mission trips, we travel to many areas of the world where medical help is scarce or non-existent and provide vital medical services. 

 In addition, SonLife will construct small clinics and solar lighting as part of this work.

 By partnering with the church in New Iberia, you can literally change the world for Christ by bringing hope and eternity to struggling people throughout the world.
